  • International Conference on Evolutionary and Deterministic Methods for Design, Optimization and Control with Applications to Industrial and Societal Problems

Scope

Objectives

EUROGEN 2013 will be the tenth of a series of International Conferences previously held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - Spain (1995), Trieste - Italy (1997), Jyväskylä - Finland (1999), Athens - Greece (2001), Barcelona - Spain (2003), Munich - Germany (2005), Jyväskylä - Finland (2007), Cracow – Poland (2009) and CIRA - Italy (2011) devoted to Evolutionary Computing for Industrial Applications. It aims at bringing together specialists from Universities, Research Institutions and Industries developing or applying Evolutionary and Deterministic Methods in optimization of design and emphasizing on industrial and societal applications. This series of conferences were originally launched by the European Thematic Network INGENET.

EUROGEN’13 is an ECCOMAS Thematic Conference. ERCOFTAC, represented by its Special Interest Group (SIG) on Design Optimization, is now the ECCOMAS associate of this ECCOMAS Thematic Conference, in particular, in the context of the CAERO EC-Project.

The conference will include plenary invited lectures, keynote lectures, minisymposia, and special technological sessions (STS) and contributed papers.
